Dublin has a lot to offer all visitors and here are some ideas for you to try out on your visit.

Phoenix park is one to be seen as its known as the most magnificent and largest parks of Europe. There is a visitors centre where you will find an exhibition on the history and wildlife of the park. You will also find information on the park from as far back as 3500BC to today and you will also find a childrens section where they will be able to enjoy and explore the forest life.

Botanic Gardens: These gardens were established in 1705 and stretch out over’.5 hectares and contain a large collection of plants said to be around 20,000 species. In these gardens you will find such features as the Great Palm House, four ranges of glasshouses, rose garden, rockery, wall plants and more. The visitor Centre has a restaurant, lecture room and exhibition area. You can organise a guided tour as well.

National Aquatic Centre: This would be a great day out for the entire family as there is enough going on to entertain everyone. You can either take a swim in the pool, float around the lazy river or take a ride down one of the many water slides. This is a perfect day for the whole family to enjoy.

A great place to see is Malahide Castle as its got a great sence of Irish history which focuses on the Tablot family and this is all recorded and explained inside on the great hall. You will also find a number of Irish portrait paintings which are mainly from the National gallery and there are a number of tours available in a wide range of languages.
